Osprey in Flight original oil painting. Completed in 2023. This piece was done after my Artist residency at Roger Tory Peterson Institute as a homage and recognition of the conservation efforts of Roger Tory Peterson to save osprey and other raptors from the harmful use of DDT in the 1970s. Today, our Chautauqua Lake region has a growing osprey population thanks to Peterson’s efforts. 
The stretched canvas painting comes with custom float frame (dark brown/walnut color). The back is wired and ready to hang. Shipping is free in the US.
